Community Health Workshops

Medicare Local
Medicare Local Northern Adelaide will be running a series of health-related workshops in the North and North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

The topics that we have chosen to present on at the sessions are all topics that have come up in our research as being priority areas of interest/need in our community.

These sessions are on the topic of after hours, digital health/health literacy & palliative care. The workshops will include external and internal speakers delivering up to date information on the respective topics.  Attached are the flyers BELOW.

We also have a community engagement workshop coming up which is being facilitated by an external company, Enzyme and is on the topic of Families and Family structures and how differing structures impact on health and wellbeing. It will follow an engagement format where we will be asking for views from participants on their own personal family structures impact on health and wellbeing. Confirmed participants will be paid a $100 Woolworths gift voucher for giving of their time on the day.  Please note that there is a very limited number of people who can attend this session and people will be paid for attending and giving of their feedback. The attached flyer also contains the application form for the event. There are only a very limited number of people that will be selected to attend this workshop and submitting an application form does not guarantee them a spot. We will notify applicants to confirm or decline their spot once we complete the selection process.
