Charter Member Ron Krieg Vale
Charter Member Ron Krieg, Paul Harris Fellow with Sapphire, served well the Club and his Community for 40 years. During this time Ron held many positions in the Club, which included Committee Chair, Historian, Almoner and Club Poet.
Ron was a most respected School Principal. Because of his interests in education, the Club has, over a number of years, provided scholarships to TAFE students who qualify, to support their expenses. At a recent meeting, the club announced it’s decision to name the scholarship the Ron Krieg Award, and have requested that his wife, June, present the award on future occasions.
President Ron presented June with a memento of the Ron Krieg Scholarship at the meeting.
